General Terms
General Terms and Conditions for Participation in a Mentoring Programm
Responsibility of the Entrepreneur
Your OKB mentor provides guidance and support throughout the mentoring programme. However, full responsibility for your business, including all decisions and their consequences, always remains with you as the entrepreneur.
OKB and its mentors provide advice only and do not make decisions on your behalf. The entrepreneur indemnifies the mentor and Stichting Ondernemersklankbord against any claims made by third parties.
Cooperation and Provision of Information
The entrepreneur is expected to keep appointments with the mentor and to provide all relevant information, whether requested or not, in a timely manner. All information shared during the programme will be treated confidentially by the mentor.
If the entrepreneur repeatedly fails to honour agreed appointments, or if continuing the programme is no longer considered beneficial, the mentoring programme may be terminated by either the mentor or the entrepreneur.
The entrepreneur is expected to inform the mentor promptly of any significant changes to their situation.
3. Duration of the Programme
A standard mentoring programme lasts six months, unless agreed otherwise. This period is intended to provide effective support to the entrepreneur.
By mutual agreement, the programme may be extended or shortened. If the entrepreneur has been referred by a third party (such as a municipality or another organisation), additional arrangements may apply.
The mentor does not perform operational or executive work. However, the mentor may recommend next steps, refer the entrepreneur to other professionals where appropriate, and attend meetings with third parties if helpful. Mentors do not prepare official documents but may provide feedback on draft documents or offer guidance during their preparation.
4. Contribution
OKB mentors volunteer their time and expertise without financial compensation.
To support the organisation, Stichting Ondernemersklankbord requests a contribution of €200 for each mentoring programme. If the programme is extended or a new programme is started, an additional contribution of €200 will be requested.
5. Indemnity and Liability
Stichting Ondernemersklankbord and its volunteer mentors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the advice provided, nor for any inaccuracies in the information supplied by the entrepreneur.
Given the voluntary and advisory nature of the mentoring programme, neither the individual mentors nor Stichting Ondernemersklankbord accepts liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from participation in the programme.
